Archetype Olga of Kiev 

After listening to the Noble Blood podcast on Olga of Kiev, it inspired me to look up the asteroid Olga.

I strongly suggest you listen to the podcast episode for the full story. Still, in a nutshell, Olga leads a very ruthless and brilliant revenge campaign after a neighbourhood tribe murdered her husband, Igor. It was apparent in a social setting she could mask her emotions and fool her enemy, only to deliver very strategic and personalised retribution.

One final note for anyone hears the story of Olga of Kiev and is tempted to paint her 'Badass warrior queen!!' Remember she didn't participate in any of the fightings, she was a General if anything else, a leader and an orchestrator.

Her mythology is to emphasise her cleverness; there's no need to paint every woman in history with some modicum of power with the same brush.

I also compare Olga to the queen of swords in tarot; this queen is the element of air and is intellectual, cerebrally detached, independent, and her shadow is cold and ruthless.

Astrologically I would associate Olga energy with a blend of Aquarius/ Scorpio.

 

A prominent Olga in a chart could manifest as one who uses their intellect to outdo their opponents; they won't get their hands dirty though or lose their cool, they will most likely use their strategic mind and leadership to achieve their ends.

But Maggie Thatcher has a prominent Olga - conjunct Ascendant, Saturn, Trine Pluto and sextile Jupiter!
