Who am I? Why am I here?

Briefly I want to give a background on what got me into astrology and why I love it.

My sister originally showed me a book Suzanne White's new astrology which was a combination of Eastern and Western zodiac. I am an Aries Dog, when I read it I kind of agreed with the description but it really peaked my curiosity.

When and where you are born is out of your control so it seemed pretty cool to me that it could indicate how you are, I like the idea of fate.

I was proud to be an Aries sun, ironically though I don't fit the description of a typical Aries, which is bold, daring and courageous. I had a very tough younger life and was shy, introvert and had a hard time with self expression and friendships. I had a turbulent inner and outer world so being interested in astrology was a good outlet for me.

Over the years my love for astrology has deepened and I am doing a course though Sydney Astrology School, it is great to learn how to professionally read a chart.

Astrology is very deep, each person is all of their placements combined.

I firmly believe we chose to be born in a particular body to learn certain lessons for our spiritual growth. Astrology is one tool to uncover that. It has given me self knowledge to guide me and explain why I have experienced certain challenges, understanding relationships and ultimately why I am here.

Self knowledge is self empowerment.
